being happy means not being sad
& being sad means not being happy
if u feel less sad its means ure in middle of getting over..
and if u feel less happy its means that something a little bit bad happend

i think that logic would seem to dictate that if you are more of one thing, you typically are less of something else. i find it hard to comprehend how you could seriously co-exist equally in both states at the same time, unless you practice living a lie on some level or another, or are just a seriously confused being. i myself am always at war within myself, as to wheather or not im a happy person or a sad person. outwardly im very positive and light-hearted, or at least i aspire to be. i usually end up coming across as very dark and disturbed however, and i think that this is my true nature becoming apparent to the world around me. overall, i think most people could use more balance in their daily lives, and not worry so much about the particulars. if you are too happy, you're manic - if you are too sad - depressed. i think the most important thing a person can do is to be aware as much as possible how they are feeling at any given time, and attempt to control these feelings, instead of letting the feelings control them. most importantly you must be honest with yourself about the way you feel, for no one can enlighten us better than ourselves as to how we feel about one thing or another......

I dont think anyone has ever experienced true happiness...no matter what you think how happy you are...I think you are only happy like what..50%...so I will concider it as being not sad...
Sadness..is what makes you realize what being happy mean. If you have never experienced sadness...happiness will have no meaning at all.

The real question is what is happy and what is sad? The answer to that is, there are no such things as happiness and sadness. They are simply ideas that encapsulate something much more complicated that isn't fully understood by science yet.

See, this is more of that binary thinking that traps most people. Life is not a conflict of opposites. The universe is not a conflict of opposites. Wherever you look, there are spectra.
Sadness and happiness are determined by how you view the spectrum of events around you life.

One is not the opposite of the other. They can both find a place in your heart at the same time. People are creatures of mixed emotions. That is what makes you unique. There is no right or wrong way to feel and no one can tell you what to feel. The way you feel now is exactly what you are supposed to feel
