For example, under visual arts, instead of Monet, I found a lot of technical questions about photography and digital cameras. And it's not just that the questions are technical, its that the people asking seem like seventh graders. "Has anyone read Black Beauty?" I am so sick of this I'm tempted to stay away but I want to know if anyone else feels this way.

I feel the same way. It's tiring seeing how many kids have opted to asks one of us on yahoo what their summer reading book was about. Is it so hard to just read a book and enjoy it these days? I worked at Barnes & Noble for over 8 years and each year kids looking for summer reading got worse and worse. (Give me the shortest book...do you have this on audio?) Technology is great but I think it's great when people can still appreciate books, art, & music tangibly.

"Corrupted" by technology? What are you, a Luddite? In case you haven't noticed, technology is quite ubiquitous in our lives nowadays.

As for questions that seem to be asked by kids, well yeah, there aren't any age restrictions here. If you don't like the question, don't bother answering it.
