I know a few truths. I also know what it is to be mistaken. Therefore, I know best what I'd like to be true; and that I share willingly.

I don't know about 'arguing' my point of view. I prefer the simple explanation. It is not my goal to change your beliefs, nor to allow you to change mine. It is my goal that we come away from a discussion both a little stronger, a little surer, a little the wiser.

The truth is always in the eye of the beholder. If I share what I think the truth is, there will be others who think that I am not speaking the truth, therefore, I will have to argue my point of view.

If I knew the truth, I'd share it with you. But I don't, so tough luck. Try asking the people in Arrogant Pricksville, though. They know EV'RYHTING!

The best we can do is deal with what is probable. We might be wrong but it's best to apply our rigourous questioning to any belief or assumption that wills itself to be correct on the basis of faith.

If it is something i believe to be true....i would simply stand my ground....I wouldn't waste time arguing.
