Anger is the experience of believing that someone did something wrong? We then have the choice to experience anger for the duration of our lives, or the end the judgment of other's actions.

Guilt is the experience of believing that we have done something wrong. We can choose a lifetime of guilt, or end the judgment about our actions.

For each of the feelings you may have for others (anger, jealousy, envy, fear, etc.) others also have those same feelings for you.

While you envy person X, person A also envies you.

Can social network support world peace?

This question, in reality, is a sum of many questions: can Web 2.0 promote real understanding among people? Will people decide to use technology to co-operate? Can automatic translation tools, socila bookmarks, news digging, etc. make communication easier?

A practical testbed for Web 2.0: can a site like http://www.mypacis.com/ , built as open source, integrated and localized social network platform, develop into a tool for peace?

Please reply to this question, your opinion can make a difference in identifying strenghts and weaknesses of Web 2.0 services at the service of peace and freedom.

THANKS!

.....even after so much time has passed, and that to each other you should be or probably to one of the people are the past, yet still find yourself wanting their presence? Even when you know that they're practically gone for ever - or can't rekindle any form of friendship or relationship with them due to past hurts, regrets or guilt?

(This is also posted in the "Polls" section)

In the near future, all babies must receive genetic tests to screen for terminal diseases/conditions such as Anencephaly, Alzheimer’s, or Cancer. Additionally, parents can find out their baby's eye color, gender, sexual orientation, and mental disposition. This test can also predict, with 90% accuracy, whether the child will be obese.

You are the soon-to-be-parent of a baby girl and find out that she has no terminal genetic markers, will have brown hair and green eyes, will be heterosexual, and will be generally healthy, however, she has the highest marker for obesity and the doctors predict she will inevitably be a "fat" child and an "obese" adult, regardless of diet and exercise. Knowing this, and all the additional ramifications of obesity (prejudice, heart disease, diabetes), do you choose:

1. to have the baby
2. to abort
3. to alter her genetic make up

What is your choice & why?

PLEASE BE HONEST, SPECIFC, & RESPECTFUL!

ability to see the bigger picture. The world is fragmented. A whole does not exist. There may be no truth. Simulacra. Everything is a copy of a copy. The truth is non-existant, originality is lost.

When people die, it is said that the soul is released from the body and it flows freely, but then isn't there a possibility that the soul isn't even in the body in the first place? I'm curious to hear what other people think.

Isn't it funny how the word "politics" is made up of the words "poli" meaning "many" in Latin, and "tics" as in "bloodsucking creatures?"
