Money and Power are almost the same thing.
Your motivation is what money and power with get you. Which is:
A nice house in the suburbs with a beautiful intelligent wife,
that will have beautiful intelligent children,
that your money will send to college,
where they will meet beautiful intelligent mates
and learn the climb that glorious corporate ladder
that's has made it all possible.
And so we are all joined in that great circle of corporate life.
Hallelujah!

Everything needs money. The soul target is not only family or individual monitory satisfaction, but a satisfaction that comes with your targets in life. My satisfaction, is certain social problems I need to eliminate, for which I definitely do not intend to carry around pamphlets, or hold huge groups and parades to invite charity, or visit pple and ask or plead them to donate. I want to do it myself, no I am not being selfish here, but I certainly do believe that whatever you want to do in life cannot be done (specially if you have a social work to be done) by shouting, screaming or writing, or even becoming the president...but I want to do it myself, by first taking a few steps to reach there, I am quarter way through, anda few years back I did not even take a step. I am still climbing...and my motivation is certain images that I still hold in my mind, as in an old age home, orphanage....ofcourse its not just all about social, at the same time, betterment of myself ofcourse and what my fame will help me to bring about wahtever it is i need to achieve my goals.
For example, it was still in images. when I dreamt, the images were not there, now that I am half way through the images, plans are slowly formiing, images...everything slowly forms as you take one step further...and this keeps me motivated...to get the final picture....i dont know if i will succeed, but if i do, I would certainly be a fool who dared to dream and make the dream come true.. !!!
Hope you are a fool too, who dared to dream!!
good luck

for me it's the power that comes with control, to gain control you have to take on more responsibility, you have to be willing to do what others won't, I like to feel valued and worthwhile, not just a replaceable pod no one notices. Guess that's part of my selfishness, I want attention and recognition, and besides all that the money comes along with it, at least in my line of work, but you got to stand out so you can be trusted, I love being a major contributing factor to an important project, I feel more self satisfaction versus sitting and counting the minutes until it's time to get off work.

I don't work in that field. Fortunately, my greed and lust for power are very manageable. I leave those desires and those consequences to those who seek it.
Be careful what you wish for.
