My Professor gave us some advice the other day.
Did you know give or take a few hours on a general day you use

8 hrs = sleep
8 hrs = work
2 hrs = eat (breakfast, lunch, dinner, eat in or out)
2 hrs = groom
2 hrs = travel
only 2 hrs = you

Therefore, in 75 years you would've used up

25yrs on sleep
25yrs at work
18 yrs w/other essentials and
only 6 1/4 yrs on you.

So it's important to do something you are passionate about when it comes to your work cause then you can steal back 25 years for YOU.

Just a little insight and 2 cents.

What purpose do we gain from the knowledge we are seeking? I'm not talking about math or equations here, I'm talking about life in general? We're all going to die someday anyway, right? But yet we keep seeking for answers? Yet, why are you right and the next person not right?

What colour you think of when you think of love.
"LOVE IS COLOURFUL." When I think of LOVE, all colours of the RAINBOW come to my mind. LOVE-isn't necessary limited to one colour. Each colour means a different emotion. It causes both happiness and sorrow, joy and pain.

Personally I find that wealth, knowledge and power gives you opportunities to become happy and do good for yourself and others. What do you think?

Alright, lets think of this non-religiously, please.

Now, we "put down" animals when they are in intense pain and sometimes even when they are unwanted. We also sentence and go through with the death penalty. Yet, we are against abortions, euthanizing of humans and suicide (I added that for completeness).

So, considering those instances and any others that I couldn't think of, what's the difference? Why is killing a man who is in prison better than allowing someone to die peacefully instead of living in pain for the rest of their lives.

Please share true and honest theories about soulmates and how we might find them. Or if we think we found him/her.. how do we really know?
I am a firm believer in the theory that we are beings of energy, etc, so I would like to get ideas based on that.
(If you need me to elaborate my questions, just ask and I will do my best.)

Or is it always that you are either giving back, or harming?

I'm taking a course at the university... elementary formal logic.

Everything was okay until we started studying rules of inference and constructing proofs.

For some reason, I just can't get it (no pun intended, of course).

Is there any way to make Modus Ponens and Conditional Proofs second nature to me?

I don't even know where to begin.
