When the Sand Runs Out by Rascal Flatts
I love the song because it says stuff about making the most of life and having no regrets when that final day comes to us, at the end of our lives. It really touched me because it also said something about daring yourself to do something unlike yourself without anything to hold you and your dreams back.

The Everglades -- (I can't remember who it was composed by).
It was an easy piano solo (well, in comparison to the literature that I play now, anyway). At the time however, it was still above my level (This would have been when I was in fifth grade). My teacher assigned me to have the right hand learned the week after I got the music. I had the whole thing learned/ both hands together. I played it on a recital and from then on I was absolutely hooked. I'm pretty sure that that was when piano became more than a fun hobby and more of an essential part of my lfie.

I don't think songs can change your life. There are songs who make you feel a certain way but that's about all.

Isreal Kamakawaiwo'ole 's Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
Absolutely beautiful song, he sings it so innocently. It is definately one of the songs that is going to be sung by my best friend at my funeral.

Pachelbel's Canon
Partly by coincidence, and partly not, this song has been part of many very memorable parts of my life, and every time I hear the song, I think of them.

"What one man can do" by John Denver written for Prof Fuller.
The reason why this song is so powerful is because it is about what we can do as and individual to make this work beautiful and love.

Well it all depends on what mood i'm in....
If i'm mad at someone or something or somethings just bothering me, i like to listen to dammit by blink-182
When i listen to wonderwall by oasis, i'm reminded of sitting in the subway trains. I'm not sure why, but it makes me feel at peace.
If i'm feeling sad, i'll listen to a bunch of songs, including: i'll follow you into the dark by deathcab for cutie, famous last words by my chemical romance, etc.
If i'm already calm, i like to listen to what you know by T.I.
But these are songs that brings me back to a peaceful state. Why? i don't know. But they seem to calm me.
