I hear footsteps
moving silently
through my life.
Footsteps
of those now gone,
slipping silently
through the rooms
of my mind
Silent whispers
sift softly
through my thoughts
reminding me
of them.
They made me
what I am.

You know that all these things count in making us feel, think and to be what we are, but most philosophically speaking what makes you, you, what you are is essentially, and more importantly what you think you are is all that exists in the world, not even a single atom or a blade of grass missing; make one thing in the universe absent and you would not be exactly what you exactly are, all things make difference, however small and insignificant. For if you did not know the people you know, and if you would know some other people instead, you would have known yourself to be a totally different person - we are all inspired by other people one way or the other and the people who we inspire us are inspired by yet some other people. There actually could be many perfect circles in you life starting from you inspiring others, and ending at you being inspired by others; people you inspire may inspire some other people, and they some others further afield, and those thus insipid might come in touch with you some day to inspire you more. All you want to do is to be known throughout these circles, to be aware where your power is going. If motorbikes give you the buzz that you need to trigger this chain reaction of inspiration than let it be so, go for it, record motorbike sounds and listen to them, watch motorbike races and rallies on the telly, do it yourself, become a rally biker, be an inspirational ring leader in your own right, and take part! What makes us what we are, is most essentially whatever we get inspired by in life.

Your own self! :)
You thought of what you think
You admire of what you feel
You experince of what you sense
Just like everybody on the earth.....
Personality, I believe is just memories..... Anyone change! And not born with it.... If it real, it just a coincedence.
Yes! I do believe it too that Instinct is an inherited memory.
Maybe it's your interest that make you like it as something in you that you want to ride a very fast and great motorbikes and racing perhaps?! Hehe! :). What do I know? Sorry! You must have some reason with the motorbikes....

DNA dictates how you start out in life from everything from looks to behavioural tendancies. However, as you grow, your development is affected by your environment. By this i mean everything you come into contact with, witness or feel.
- How you are brought up plays an enormous part.
- Your education obviously has some bearing on your intelligence and cognitive ability.
- Your physique is determined by what physical activities you do (or don't do) in life. (Although in rare cases exercise isn't the major determining factor)
When you say persona I assume you mean personality and this is affected by the above.
Instinct is not inherited memory so much as instructed memory. In other words, your life experiences all contribute to give you instinct.
Why do you love very fast noisy motorbikes?
That can be answered in more than one way:
- Either someone close to you is into motorbikes and you've found something in it that interests you; or maybe it's because they like it that you like it.
- Or you're rebelling against someone close who dislikes it. Thus you like it because they don't!
- Or because you're a bloke and like mechanical things anyway. Men tend to be more inclined to like such things than women. I don't know why, but it's pretty much a fact.

Hi, I don't think we're born naughty - after all what does a new born baby know about misbehaving? We are all born innocent, it's then the close people around us that help us develop our personalities. For example if a child is brought up in a family who never shouts at it and never smacks it then it will probably grow up patient and relaxed. If a child is brought up in a family who is always swearing and hitting it then that child will learn to hit people when he is angry. As we get to adolesence then our personalities get to be more broader because we are no longer always in the company of our parents/ siblings, we then have friends from school and so on. The people whom you then mix with at school will have an effect on your personality - they might not change it but they will effect it. For example if you hang around with people who smoke, don't do there homework and skip class then your more likely to follow down the same path and vice versa. I can't tell you exactly why you like fast noisy motorbikes, but maybe it subconciously reminds you of a nice memory, or maybe it's just what makes you you.

What makes you who you are? In a way, that's for you to decide. Scientifically, your genes, DNA, because genetically, you are completely individual. You are also who you are through the way you think, your intentions, what you want out of life, the way you treat people, etc.
In my opinion, no-one is born naughty or good, you become that way as you are more familiar with your surroundings.
You are completely individual and original, no-one else on the world is exactly like you. But I still don't know why you love very fast, noisy motorbikes...

This is dependant on both genetic (inherited) and environmental (learnt) factors. You do have certain genes which make you who you are, for example; you could be born with the inherited 'intelligent gene' or the 'less intelligent gene'. However, the environment around you causes this to change, if you are in a good school where you are constantly challenged-your intelligence will improve (and vice-versa). This applies to the 'naughty/good' argument too (which is in fact mostly environmental factors, I think). You may like fast noisy motorbikes because when you where growing up, someone you admire liked them, or you saw an article on them and it just clicked-you like them. Hope this helped! xxx

You are you because your DNA laid down the building blocks on which your life then taught you. IE. it is not nature (DNA) or nurture but a fusion of the two.
No one is born good or bad - life makes them that way.
Instinct is the subconscious processing all your passed experiences and subliminally throwing up the answers.
You love motorbikes because they satisfy you. For more I would have to chat to u 1-2-1 because if a 100 people entered a room - all lovers of motorbikes - every one would have a different reason.

Yes we can look at all these things DNA and things they are all true but look at fate and events one small event can change your fate such as being in the wrong place at the wrong time for example walking along the road hand in hand with the girl/boy you love and a car skids on diesel mounts the pavement kills either one of yous or both the survivor will never be the same again you could withdraw from life live in pain the rest of your life what has DNA to do with that is that not fate some have good fates others not so good ?? chew on it a bit

Psycologists and Psychiatrists would say that you are a product and because they study rats and rats act like this or like that, they say YOU, as an animal, act like that.
They say we are Rational Animals. WRONG.
We are EMOTIONAL beings. Animals are rational... They kill to eat or to defend themselves or to safegard descendence, etc. But if I punch you, you get emotional and punch me back.
But we have what is called 'the power of choice'. You could punch me back or just stop and try to understand why I did that to you. This, would be RATIONAL.
But our minds are full of aberrated computations, some due to false data, some due to 'education', some by the way your parents brought you up,... The environment has little or none influence, let's say: How the hell a table, a bulb, or a briefcase could possibly influence me to be a good guy or a bad guy? How on Earth, a window or a tire of a car would influence me to be this or that? How the hell, a rain drop or Spring would influence me. PEOPLE influence me not the environment.
Instict is for animals; we, we can choose. What we have is a Reactive Mind and this part of mind - not of the brain, which is a very conplex mecanism, but in the end physical, bodylike - records everything which is contained in an incident, including the sound in it, if this incident causes you pain or inconscience, which are similar to the Survival of the individual. This way one is not aware of our reactions, most of the times; that's why we later regret what we have done to somebody. Only in this case we could be called a 'product'. But one can be freed from this mind and regain total control about the way we do or say things.
So, If you can chose what to do, YOU make yourself.
Life is a game and you chose the objects to play with, So, you like fast motorbikes beacause is what you choosed to play the game of your life.

personality is a learned behaviour. it comes through primary and secondary socialisation. primary socialisation comes from close family....they teach you what is right and wrong so that you will fit in with the other members
secondary is where you take the skills you have and go out to meet the world and learn to me a functioning member of society. what is right and wrong depends on what part of the world you come from.
in some places it is wrong to wear clothes and some places would consider it very bad manners not to burp at the dinner table
likes and dislikes are part of socialisation...motorbikes for example....when you were younger did you watch TV? perhaps you saw a person having lots of wild adventures and wanted to do the same....over time you forgot the TV show but held on to the thought that bikes were fun
