Don't be so sure that these people know so much more than you do.
They have the same insecurities as you and just put on a brave front to cover them up.
Have faith in your self because you are just as capable and useful to society as any of the rest of us.
I wish you were my little sister so I could give you a hug every day and tell you how great you really are.
love and blessings Don

Don't worry. I did not know what I wanted to be until I was thirty. Before then I had had jobs, and gone to school. I was in the Army for three years, went to war and came back. I have been an artist craftsman,(still am some) managed a pet store, went to college, studied art and art history, worked as a carpenter, Then circumstance would not let me explore further, I became a father and needed to concentrate on getting a job, a steady safe employment. I became a mental health nurse. Organized for my union. Became a shop Steward, the President of my Local. And when I retired, I became what I wanted to be a teacher and an actor. I teach historical re enacting, antique trades, etc. But all that said; I never had a lot of money, I was always on the edge of security. But I always studied things that interested me, I read allot, I tried things. Expect to be frightened, suck it up and go on. Your life has just got under way. As a friend says "dare something worthy".

Someone has given you a schedule of classes to attend all your life - and now, facing graduation, you realize that you are not going to be handed a road map to reach a goal anymore.
It is scary out here in the real world - but because you are in a panic, you are probably more equipped than you realize.
Don't worry what everyone else knows, does, etc. Grass is always greener, and they really do have their own set of problems they are dealing with.
Focus on you. Set some Short Term, Near Term and Long Term goals for you and write them down. You will feel better when you have a road map in your hands again. Revisit you road map on your birthday and adjust accordingly.
Examples:
Right after graduation, I'm going to: EuroRail, move to SF, open an ETrade account, be a Save The Children sponsor...you fill in the blanks.
Within 1 year, I'm going to: have at least $10,00 in my ETrade account, buy furniture
etc

What do you enjoy doing? Please don't compare yourself with others because you are a unique individual with something wonderful to share and to offer the world. You simply haven't discovered what that is right now, and that's okay. Lots of people choose a major when they're in college, graduate and later decide to change professions. Be patient with yourself and realize that you are just fine without trying to be like someone else. You will know what you want to do when the time is right so for now just relax and take one day at a time. God bless you!

A lot of people, including myself at 23, do not even know what they want to be or do with their lives. You are NOT alone! I took two years off after highschool to get jobs and live life to get some experience. During those two years I sort of decided to go back to a community college and I got my Associate's Degree. As for feeling like a loser in life itself... You have to believe in yourself. It doesn't matter what others think of you. Do what makes you happy, because being depressed will only stress you out, which leads to early death. Live your life however you want, and do not live to make others happy!

good grief girl, get some self esteem. instead of rating your accomplishments and goals by those of others, focus on yourself. what do you like. certainly there is something you might want to learn more about. read a book. enroll in an adult education class and meet a whole different world of people. it's ok to not know what you want to be when you grow up. eventually it will find you. the most important thing in life is not always to make the biggest salary or be part of the most elite group. be a good christian. be true to yourself. learn something new everyday and you'll find your nitch in life. be happy and optomistic. good luck.

How sad, that someone like you can graduate without ever taking a class and passing it (from the grammar and sentence structure of your question) ... and other people who deserve so much more are unable to afford even a perfunctory education.
I would say you should go back to at least 6th grade, and this time, Study. Crack a Book. Make an effort to learn something.
If you would do that you would find that your chosen vocation would occur to you long before you should be graduating.
Good luck with that lack of education in the "real world!"
God help us all.

Not many people know what they want to do when they graduate. You will get out of school and get an ok job. It may even suck. Most of my friends and I took about a year or two to find a good job and a career that we actually wanted to pursue.

My grandaughter is graduating this year. She finally decided what she wanted to go to col.for.She has changed her mind so much I`ve lost count.I think it`s just natural to not know what you want and be a little scared as you get closer to the time when you have to stand up for your selve. It will be ok,just relax and enjoy what time you have left in school.Everything will work out.Good luck.
