By all means, Love!

Look, you are not asking if I would prefer to drink coffe or to drink tee...

Your question is something like:
Would you prefer to use a shirt or to sit at a table?

LOVE is LOVE and GOLD is GOLD.

These are two different things.
Because of that I have no preference. I want both.

This reminds me of the saying 'Time is money' which is a wrong one. Both are the most rare things in the world and usualy people who have money, do not have time; and people who have time usualy have no money.

And btw, to prefer one does not mean that it would be used to buy the other.
Some have one, some have the other, some have both and some have none of them.

I do not understand why people confuses Gold with Money in this case of yours, and the using this money to buy love. May be because some people who have no honor are 'bought' - corrupted. Then other people think that they could also buy love.

Love, Honor, Dignity, Respect, Admiration,... cannot be bought.

Love has the power to do things that nothing else can. Gold is a rock in the ground.

Depends on how one defines 'wealth'

I would rather be wealthy in the spiritual and happiness sense than in the physical sense.

Want to have a soulless dwelling, with a trophy you don't know sleeping next to you for $500,000 a year plus stock options and die of a stress related coronary at 45?

OR...

A modest HOME with a real, loving spouse and family for doing a job you don't feel guilty and hate yourself for doing and die healthy and happy at 80?

Its a metaphor, but pick ONE answer - Like the original question, you only have these two options.

I hope my re-framing the question makes my answer obvious.

Gold draped in love with a silver lining perched on a wine bottle

I have had both love, and some gold. Believe me, my honey sleeping next to me every night, feels warmer, and cuddlier than any gold out there. So I choose love any day.

For a modest home, Justin, you would need a little gold, so does that mean I can have lots of gold and some modest love?

:) I am so clever.

You can't buy TRUE happiness & love with gold it's priceless cos it's so special. I'd rather be with the man of my dreams than sat alone in some mansion.
