Most global warming is caused by the hot air spouted by politicians whose hidden agenda is to use the natural warming of the globe to extract more taxes from the population. In the context of the universe humankind is here for the blink of an eyelid, the globe will warm up and cool down in regular cycles as it has always done, it will continue long after humanity has departed and it will be better for the demise of mankind which is an inevitability.

Maybe we could fight for peace? I know that's like f-c-k-ing for virginity, but all these explosives must contribute to global warming.
We should get used to the idea that in winter the temperature drops. Instead of turning up the heating, wear a sweater in the house. I know people who think they should heat their houses to a level where they can walk around in t-shirts all year round.
Most scientists haven't said that it is 100% the fault of humans.
How would you explain the Ice-ages? The glacial valleys in England and Scotland? Must have been all those Scots distilling whiskey who caused the glaciers to melt.
But we should take responsibility and stop thinking that the earth is a God-given gift to be exploited to the limits and then pray to God to put things right when it all goes pear-shaped.

I imagine you read the IPCC report that just came out, or at least the media's view of it. Myself, I read the actual IPCC report. I'm a scientist by profession, and I was astounded at the irresponsible claims made in that report. That they have a 90% chance of being right about ANYTHING climate related is just laughable.

It's really as simple as this. Prediction has always been a key measure of understanding. Until their climate models can actually predict future climate, they can't say that they understand the way climate works. Myself, I'm betting that global warming is mostly a natural cycle. But then, I can't say for sure either. We simply don't know enough, and probably don't have enough data even if we did.

Where did you get that info? The scientists say that man is riding on top of a gobal warming trend. Our activity is accelerating it and we don't know the tipping point. Immediately after hitting it, an ecological cascade can take effect. The environment crashes in a hurry and we can't do anything to prevent it. NOW is the time to act. If we don't, then in about 4,000 yrs. the earth will begin cooling down.

The industries got the blames, for all it wastes and all. But,have you noticed that the Earth tilted at the sub-tropical towards the Sun. Well, I don't think that the global warming is caused by 100% human errors.

Not all scientists agree upon the causes of global warming. Many believe it's a naturally occurring phenomenon. There was such a naturally occurring warming period during the middle ages, that lasted about 500 years. Fossil fuels certainly wasn't responsible for that warming period.

Here's something to also consider. The polar ice caps on Mars are melting. This can't be caused by the burning of fossil fuels on Mars, because Mars is uninhabited.

Here's something else to consider, the temperature of our sun is hotter now, than it was a few hundred years ago. Do you think that might have anything to do with our present global warming cycle? I sure do!!

There is a theory that the planet has an 'ice age' every 10-100,000 years, when the Polar glaciers extend to cover much more of the land masses of the world.

This theory would conclude that we are still in an 'ice age' right now because glaciers and ice still cover the Earth's extremities ('the Poles').

The theory holds that, sooner or later, the temperature will stop rising and begin to decend again, and the glaciers and ice will extend towards the equator.

There is extensive proof that this has happened many times, over millions of years.

The only thing scientists know 100% sure is that they can never reach a probability of 100% when it comes to empirical matters.
For global warming specifically... just check out the sources

It's not 100% caused by humans. Some scientists don't believe it's caused by humans at all.

Global warming can be stopped easily.
It has been caused by cutting down the rain forests.

Trees take in carbon dioxide & let out Oxygen.

If we are to survive it is essential that the rain forests are allowed to grow & that any trees that are sawn down for building & furniture etc are only taken from sustainable sources that means that growers should replant 10% more than what they remove & this should be enforced by every country in the world.

This is the only solution.

Plant trees & take care of our forests & they will take care of civilisation.
