I have everything I need, food, water, shelter, clothes, a car. But I've never had somebody that I love, love me in return. Why, does God just want me to be lonely and die in misery? I'm a good person, decent looking, people tell me i'm attractive often, and i think i look all right. I am caring, kind, maybe funny sometimes. It seems like everyone else has found their prince or princess charming. I'm 22 and feel like I will never meet that special someone. Not even a special someone, I can't even meet an unspecial nothing. I just don't seem to be what guys are looking for. Why? What did I ever do wrong that now I have to be lonely. I feel so hopeless. My friends keep getting married, my classmates have children, and I'm still no closer to doing any of those things than I was when I was 16. Please somebody tell me, will I get married. I am so lonely, I just want a nice person to spend my life with. Im not even asking for much. Just a nice, kind, gentle person, one person.

I'd love to start talking to this guy who works in a shop i visit very often, i've never spoken to him before and if things go well, i'd love to ask him out to a coffee or something like that...the thing is, i've never had a boyfriend before and it's the first time i'm in this situation as i am 16 and i am completely scared of rejection. What do you think i should do? I'd appreciate any advice! Thankyou... :-)

Science has, in the past, explained away the need for a Polytheistic belief system with gods that controlled day to day occurances such as the movements of planets, moons, weather, love, etc. Of course, the origin of the universe still had to be explained and, thus, we adopted a monotheistic belief system that explained the beginning and foresaw the end of the world. While we still do not understand the origins of the universe, scientists continue to press forward in the pursuit of the truth. in the debate over creationism vs. big bang and other non creationisn theories, will science explain away our current need for a god?

Please justify your answers with accepted scientific theory or empirical evidence supporting your religious arguement. One line answers will be given a negative rating and will not be considered.

The man's knowledge was so far ahead of his time...and ours! For him to come up with: "All evil deeds are motivated by instinct of self preservation or, more precisely, by the individual's desire for pleasure and the avoidance of pain; such motivation is not evil." That's just genius to me...what do you think?

You have 2 years to get ready for the end of the world. There is a giant asteroid coming to destroy the Earth. You are a billionaire. You construct a giant cave underneath a mountain that should protect you and about 1,000 other people along with some animals. Who do you bring? People of what professions? More women? More men? People of religion? All athiests? All races of people? Only people that speak more than 1 language so that languages don't die out? You can only bring so many plants and animals. Which do you bring?
