The man's knowledge was so far ahead of his time...and ours! For him to come up with: "All evil deeds are motivated by instinct of self preservation or, more precisely, by the individual's desire for pleasure and the avoidance of pain; such motivation is not evil." That's just genius to me...what do you think?

I agree he was "beyond his time". The problem with Nietzsche is that to truly understand him you have to read ALL of his stuff. Most people dont do that.

Read Ecco Homo, in the chapters he even calls himself a genius.

Sorry to disagree. The man was interesting more by his contradictions than by the clarity of his thoughts. I like reading that but it hasn't brought me one spark of illumination in many years. It takes a lot of energy to get to common sense and bottomline, reading him.

no, most of what he said is just common sense...no genius there at all. really whats so profound about saying ppl do things for their own pleasure and to avoid pain and suffering...duh !

I think when primitive man after giving it a lot of thought and deciding not to pee on his fire was genius.

in case you do no longer think of i'm sensible then why? nope. Do you like me? nope. dont understand you.. what might you do in case you met, and recognized, me? kick you! (: why might you do it? to work out you cry! :D Are you recklessly impulsive? huh. do you many times answer stupid questions like this? yup! :D Why? OR Why no longer? reason..i understand theyre no longer gonna get alota' solutions! :D is this stressful / am i stressful? kinda. why? reason its YOU! how many minutes/secs of your existence do i owe you back? i dont understand? yet, you owe my 5 greenbacks!
