There is a saying that hindsight is 20/20. It is much easier to see the consequences of your actions after they have already occurred than it is to try to predict what is going to happen. Without more information about specific situations and your age, it's hard to be precise - but maturity could very well play into it, as well as the wisdom that is acquired through our experiences, both good and bad. Sometimes it takes a while for the full implications of our actions to come into the light - maybe because they are subtle, and maybe because we are not spending enough time on reflection.

The hope is that we turn those experiences into opportunities for personal growth and learning, to avoid repeating the same mistakes.

You are on way to your spiritual progress. Let not reason and logic distract you from the path. If you earnestly accept all those actions taken in the state of ignorance you will be able to eradicate not only the karmas of the past but also free yourself from the future bad karmas as well. God bless.

yeah...the dude's right....it's probably coz your maturing...

it's also probably because it's only now that you took the time to consider what your actions were worth and what they in turn have caused....maybe, though you may not comprehend y, it's just the right time for you to open your eyes to the reality of the situations you got yourself into. the consequences may appear to be clearly laid out now because maybe it's about time you see and this time, you're just about ready to understand and face them.
