I'm not going to baby you and say that things are going to be okay and you should look on the brightside, instead i am going to ask you a question. Have you ever been face to face with death? Have you ever had a disease that you had to fight to keep your life? You are saying that in every parameter you are a loser! That just makes me mad that you are a college educated person whom obviously has their health and you are obsessed with your own demise. Why not take some of the energy that you have put into the last five years of thinking about killing yourself and use it to find a reason to live for? Sometime you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and start making your own way even if it takes effort to do so. I personally do not know you and I would really like to know what you are so very upset about, how could it possibly be so bad?I have fought to be here and I have been so sick that the breath coming out of my mouth could have been my very last, the entire time all I could think about was living to the next breath. Please, reconsider that you don't want to live, life is the most special gift from God! I would be very happy to be your friend and try to help you as much as possible, I am known to my friends as soldier girl, because I have fought my way out of some really trying situations, and somehow, some way, I always seem to find the way out of turmoil. If you won't seek professioal help, then find as many friends to talk to as you can, your family can help too, I will help if I can, just let someone help you. Peace, love, and joy to you!

I can't imagine how bad your life could possibly be. There are so many people out there who are worse off than you are. My advice to you is to seek out these people and try to help them. You can end your life if you want to but know it won't make matters better. The ones you leave behind will forever question what they could have done to help. Not to mention, it's the unforgiven sin. How selfish you must be to just end a precious gift that was given to you. GOD didn't think you were a loser and that's why you are here now. I am worse off than most, but still understand that my situation could be far worse. I don't sit and wonder why this is happening, I just continue working and living my life. I make sure that anything I can do for anyone else, I offer my services. I don't have much, but if my story will help someone else hang on then I will continue to share it. Thank you and GOD bless.

If you are still in college, go to Psychological Services, or the Health Center or wherever. You need to talk to a professional about this. If you don't want to, then try talking to a friend you trust. Take on a hobby. Right now it's not a good idea to go swimming, but maybe going tothe rec center and hopping on a rowing machine might do you some good. Release some tension, vent some frustrations.
Oh, I know! Join a martial arts club! Nothing like kicking around to get your endorphins zipping around!
Do something, talk to someone. Don't just be a sack of potatoes on your couch. Get on with it!

Well, human life has no meaning at all. Your life or death have no cosmic significance whatsoever. Given that, why not go do whatever the hell you want?
Maybe your decisions have been made for the wrong reasons? Sell everything and move to a commune, or a Zen temple. Go live in a tropical area and work on a charter fishing vessel. Go hike in Alaska or in the Grand Canyon. Just do whatever the hell you want to do.
If you're going to kill yourself anyway, what do you have to lose?

Please find someone to talk to. I assure you that you are NOT the only person who has felt this way, but many have managed to take some positive steps and climb out of the depression.
My husband died suddenly four years ago and the world as I'd known it came to an end. The grief process is exhausting but necessary. Consider that you are depressed and grieving for the life you think you've lost. You haven't lost it. You just need to take some steps to get you back on track. Some days they will be baby steps. Other days, giant steps. Believe me...there is sunshine out there, and some of it is yours!

so that makes you in your late twenties which is still plenty young enough to fix things! You can get a new career, go back to school if necessary. As far as life...make better choices for yourself. Lastly, go talk with someone about these feelings...best of luck!!

I went through alot as a kid, my father left when i was 8, my mother got into a car crash and got rhuemetoid arthritis, tried to kill herself and i was 16. she went to the physc ward and to rehab. She is now remarried and Happy even though she cannot work cuz of her arthritis.
I think you need to find something that makes you happy. For me i feel that the past is best left behind and that doing the things i love makes me feel good. i also feel comfort in the people who care for me and my three wonderful cats who make me laugh when i feel upset.
i hope you feel better and please please please, your life is okay, there are people out there that have it alot worse

You own a computer, don't you? See you don't live in a cardboard box, it can always be worse.
