i think it could be. i mean i was watching something on TV about this lady who won the lottery and she was getting letters for like two years from people all across the country asking her for money and telling her there said stories. she said it broke her heart to read some of the letters and not send them money so she stopped opening mail. plus when you have lots of money people pay attention to you. where as us poor folks don't get paid to much attention, so we don't have ot worry about what we say or do where as though who are always in the lime light are forced to watch what they say Nd do most of the time. so i say yes having too much money could be a curs if you don't know how to handle it properly.

It can be. Take the story of the guy in the news recently from West Virginia. He won powerball a while back. Over 300 million dollars!!!! He decided to take a lump sum of 113 million instead of the annual payments. Now several years later, he insists that he is broke, robbed, and can't pay the person who is suing him.

This is an example of what people mean when they say that
"too much money could be a curse."

But, of course, to others, money could never be a curse, and they could never have too much.

There are 6 Billion people known to be in this world today. Image if everyone of us or even half gave a dollar (or in my case a pound) to charity? We could solve hunger and fund research for cures for the worst diseases. Could you call that a curse?

yes! money always corrupts!and every man and woman is corruptible!put anyone in a situation where they can have too much money and 99% of the time things will go awry,if not only in their lives but also in their children's lives, not to mention other people close to them.look at mother teresa.she lived in poverty.you can say she chose not to be corrupt or be corrupted.
she chose a blessing instead of a curse.

Too much money is a curse if one is not wise. It would not be a cruse for me because 1) I wouldn't let it go to my head, 2) I'm not greedy, and 3) I know how to be wise with money. If one is controlled by money, one with have problems.

just take a good look at the photos of the self proclaimed "elites" . do they, especially the middle aged and older male, examples appear to be healthy to you. i see a preponderance of obesity, vacant reptilian eyes, and other signs of clulessness and vacuousness. would you want to spend time with any of the media owners, captains of industry or "high" government officials/leadership? money is not the curse. rather, what the psychopathic will do to accumulate it is. and that curse effects not only them, negatively, but us too, as it "trickles down". ;-)

Yes indeed. This is especially true for those who fall into fortune of a sudden, as someone might who wins the lottery. These people especially seem to exhibit extremely impulsive behaviour that later on bites them in the ***.
