Why do they say Love is from the heart, when it's really what you feel. Why is it that the heart skips, but it's just a feeling. Our heart beats but it doesn't tell us who to love. So, why do they say love is from the heart?

I really don't need to add any details to this question because it is ment to be very broad and I it is a known fact that noone has the correct answer. I'm just wondering if anyone out there veiws reality similarly or has figured out anything I havn't yet. This is to be a very complex question and controversial issue.

My crazy theory of the Universe. I thought of it a few years ago, but I don't really believe it yet. Has anyone else ever thought of this?

Ok, so my boyfriend of three months (not even three months) who I've only known 1 and a 1/2 years (not even one and a half years) told me "I love you" on the phone. We're only seventeen! How is it even possible he means that. Short answer: He's a misguided youth. I haven't said anything to him, because I don't love him. I don't know anything about love and I don't think of him as the kind of boy who would just say it, but all the same, he is a boy. So what do you think I should do, because I seriously don't want to have to confront him, but that doesn't leave me with much else.

What do you think of "love is friendship"?
