Because my friend, you are human.

Though you may be blessed, it does not mean you are also personally fulfilled. You could, say, have all the money in the world and yet feel at a loss. You know the saying, "Money can't buy happiness"? You have much soul searching to do. There is something yet with which you have not been blessed, but must find for yourself. There are also health issues that can feel like sadness, but are chemical imbalances, that do require medical attention. You'll have to decide which it is and try to discover the cause for the sadness. Perhaps, take a closer look at your job, your friends or home situation. There must be something around you that is not natural to your inner self. Too much of an important component or too little? You know yourself best. Search deeper!

You can't have without giving. . .

There is definitely a void from feeling that others have it so bad and you are always safe and have everything you need. Sometimes having everything takes the joy of striving for the prize. I read one answer that said you should give away all your possesions, but is it only having all the "stuff" that you are counting as blessings?

Have some serious conversations with yourself - watch others - think of people you know or perceive. What makes them happy? Can you relate to the situations or relationships? What brings a smile to your face or to your heart? Follow that path - you'll find the answer.

I hope you find it

Oh, I think you know the answer. Only you can answer that kiddo. But somtimes we need help finding the answers. How about a councilor. Or perhaps an adult you can trust. Or even better an adult thats a total stranger! Sometimes it's easier to talk to someone who can't tell a soul because they don't know anyone you know. Cheer up, everyone feels sad for no reason from time to time. The trick is finding a way out of the sadness. Go find out!

That is because you have not yet received *all* your blessings|

You have received a certain portion - for which you should be grateful - but you have yet to receive the whole deal.

The way to open yourself up to the whole thing is to be constantly thankful for what you get - no matter how seemingly insignificant|

When you do that, you open yourself to greater and greater blessings, until you get to the point where you receive the fullness of joy that the Lord intends for you.

But in the meantime, there is a struggle before you get there|

You need both courage and patience, which the Lord will supply if you ask Him in prayer|

It's usually one of life's major heart string pullers. I'm guessing it either has something to do with "someone" in particular, the "lack of somene" in your life or a "lack of dream fulfillment" in your life. So basically, either you're a hopeless romantic at heart or you feel your life lacks meaning. If it's the latter, you need to start asking yourself what it is you truly want for your life. What is that one thing that will bring you peace? After all, it's true what they say, admission is the first step to recovery.

I'm NOT a psychiatrist, but I also feel that way at times, too. For me it's other unresolved issues that have made me angry inside, thereby creating depression. I'm working on it. In the meantime, keep being thankful for what you have. Thankful is good!

Because you never had to endure hardship, so it is impossible to appreciate your good fortune. You should give away all your worldly possessions and join a monastery.
