Why they don't want to die?

I not so sure fear of death would rate so highly as a desire to live forever. Many people do fear death and take significant measures to avoid it, but to suffer immortality merely to cheat death eternally? I'd like to live forever out of curiosity of the world. Many things facinate me and I know I'll never be able to experience them all; always something new coming about! How many people take into consideration having to watch loved ones grow old and die while they stay young, having to live amongst all the suffering and evil in the world? Sure, there's a lot of good out there, but the bad stuff weighs heavy...

Materialistic reasons. They believe this world has so much to offer them. Or else, it's fear. They don't wish to die because the thought of not existing anymore in this world scares them.
