do u think it would kill a person to not be liked so much. i know this guy whi would do anything to become more popular. i mean anything. is it really worth being thought as a mean person or a stuck up freak?

If it is true that the determinist perspective means that every event has a cause, then human actions are events that are determined by earlier causes. If this is so, could the determinist view be a valid excuse for wrong-doing? If so, why? If not, why not?

Ok, ok... so it's not THAT big of a deal. But, as I sit and ponder myself now and who/where I thought I would be when I was a child/teenager, it is as if I am on another planet. Plans don't equal happiness, I understand that now. What I thought would happen was not, of course, what did happen. And I am happier for what it truly is, MY life.... all the good and all the bad makes it perfect.
But, I have to ask those coming close, like myself, and those who have passed over this hill of age.... What are some things you would suggest I try to do/see/experience before I am 30?
