Nothing. Consciousness dies with the brain. To believe that we are somehow unique and have souls, as opposed to all other living things in the universe, is an exercise in pompous pride.
We are insignificant. We are no more deserving of "souls" or any other special distinction than any other living thing in the universe.

Bow down in love, joy and gratitude before the Holy Mother who has been my light, my strength and my comfort for my whole life. In his last moments of life Pope John Paul II was in prayer to the Blessed Mother and he said, "I have looked for you always and now you have come to me and I thank you." Understanding the special relationship that they had and the relationship that I have with the Holy Mother, I know this will also be my last prayer.

If I make it to heaven, I will look for Jesus and my lost loved ones. Ask a lot of questions and be joyful and sing praises to God.
If I don't, I will look for Ronald Regan and beat the crap out of him. When I'm done with him, I'll start looking around for Nixon.
