do u think it would kill a person to not be liked so much. i know this guy whi would do anything to become more popular. i mean anything. is it really worth being thought as a mean person or a stuck up freak?

People who have a demanding need to be liked almost certainly lack a sense of self-worth and therefore need to be validated by others' liking them.
I'd feel sorry for such people - they must have very poor self-images.

There was a Russian Tsar who conducted an experiment with infants. They (it was more than 20 I think.) were denied human touch and comfort. they were fed by bottles, with no love or comfort. They all died within a year. You think maybe we are built to be loved?
