It's just a writer - calling up different policies and modes of thinking to apply to a selection of time and space. I believe it could be one. That's my answer.

For example, I saw a question about Martin Luthor and the Catholic church and the "best answer" involved Martin Luthor King Jr, who was a different man, in a different century of a different race, and with different objectives.

So I'm curious. Please include a link to the answer post in question

How old are you before it can be said you died of old age?

If nobody buys a ticket to a movie do they still show it?

If someone owns a piece of land, do they own it all the way to the center of the earth?

If you have a cold hot pocket, is it just a pocket?

If humans evolved from monkey's/apes, why are they still here?

I want to make peace with myself but have a hard time finding that people are not peaceful with me therefore I have to try harder to find peace with myself. So many earthly problems trying not to get lost in the mess of believing in something except for Peace get's harder every day. Waiting for the world to find peace with itself so I can. Ghandi tried to starve himself to end war it only worked for a little while. Why are humans so prone to kill eachother. Can't we work together on something of course not religious doctrine of this faith and that says we will be judged how can we find progress and achieve exploration of the stars. I know the human race can not live forever but can't we work on it anyway. It could be fun. I believe in a spirit. The flesh is hell. My spirit is timeless according to my belief why can't we work together just once why does A God have to judge you and me why?

a couple of months ago, I was accessing a website; www.urantia.com, to read a book on their site.
Now! However, it seems I can't log on.
Does anyone have a clue or glimmer as to why that is? Or what may be being done to the website to cause this delay or blockage?
Thanx, dreamweaver

What would happen if someone perfectly reconstructed the brain of someone who had died? Would that person come back to life or not, and why? Could there be an easier way to answer this question instead of actually having to build a brain? Also, what if every neuron and every connection between neurons was replicated exactly except for just one of the connections of one neuron? Would that be sufficient to create a completely different person? Why or why not?

Why do I have these dreams
and flashbacks
of everything I lack
& things I wish I could take back
I rather stay awake
then suffer through the night
with the horrible images that
happen when I sleep
because there is one thing
i must keep
my sanity
Each & every day I pray
that I`ll be able
to make it through the day
All i do is lay
in bed
grasping for a breath
wishing i could be reborn
so I can take away all I`ve done
and start all over again
I lay there quietly
a million thoughts flood through my head
sometimes I wish I was dead
so all this would just come to an end
but at the same time thats one of my worst fears
I think the worst thing of all
is not being able to cry tears
I forgot the feeling or even how
Sometimes I wish I could just let it all out
but they are all inside of me
in a huge abyss of lost
thoughts,emotions,feelings
I`ve become emotionless,numb
like a cold dark bottomless pit
I yearn to feel
something
rather than
nothing.

Why do religous people want to deny varified scientific facts like evolution and the laws of physics? You can make a far better argument that Genesis is explaining evolution to people with no sense of science then farsical claims that the earth was made in 6 days and 6,000 years old.

Science and religon are in no way mutually exclusive by their natures, just different things adressing different issues. Are their no Christains out there who are rational and don't explain the world away with fairy tails?

BTW: This is not in the religon section because if you post anything under religon that isn't ***-kissing they file a complain and it's removed. WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THEM?

You know the phrase "Blood is thicker than water"? Well, I was thinking, and I put my own little spin on it: "Blood is thicker than water, but water is thicker than rose water" meaning, you know, friends come before relationships with guys/girls. Those come and go, (except once. He he!) but friends are forever. I read somewhere friends are just family you choose. I agree. And also, don't you think that the "water" often is needed to make the "blood" work. I think I would have moved out by the time I was 12 if some of my friends hadn't calmed me down, told me the "blood" only wanted what was best for me, etc. I last thought. Often blood and water mix. Your family can be your best friend. Your best friends can be the family you don't have when you need one. Agree? Thanks for the opinions!
