this question and the one about the "..eat to live.." are psychological questions. not what ur answer is but how you answer it. many answers so far but have yet to see any wise one.

If you can stay alive without eating, would you quit. What if questions are a waste of time

I said no to the question about eating, but to this one I say yes. Because then I can walk around the bottom of the ocean and watch the marine life pass me by without having to worry about water in my lungs.

That one I wouldn't mind giving up; I don't get any particular pleasure out of breathing, other than the staying alive thing.

Silly question. breathing is a reflexive action. If you didn't need air, you would never have taken a reflexive breath.

i'd prolly stop breathing in places with bad air like a city filled with smog, but for the most part, breathing is... fun, i guess. it's relaxing when u do it in fresh air in open spaces like nature, u kno? but yeah- breathing's alright with me so i'd prolly keep on doin it.

in fiction, yes i would stop breathing. in reality, no becasue air is essential to live.
