A person that has become everything they want to be and is at peace with him/herself.

I am not like that...

My boss at work definitely is...she is confident, happy, mature, knows who she is and is a senior executive.

Self realised or even self aware, is a much more whole person, I would describe someone like this as being more awake than others, Someone who realises thier own actions, & the consequences of thier actions, along with other peoples (which can be a hinderence at times).,They reach this stage by either working on themselves, through ie counselling, basically through experience of being made aware of their own stuff, in a nut shell some one who is more( spiritually awake.. I don't believe it is someone who knows who they are, because know one will ever know who they are, people have idea's and roles, likes & dislikes, wants & needs, then they fit themselves to these traits, and to know the true nature of anything, is to not hold an opinion on it Now self actualisation, is the need to realise one's pontential, & most people know, honestly deep down if they listen to themselves, that there is always room for improvement. So how can anyone know who they fully are; Realisation is just the starting block to becoming more whole people.

A self-realised person does introspection and involves his/her mind in a lot of thinking.
I met such a person, which is difficult indeed to cope with her, since she is demanding and almost every single second knows what she wants.

Without a self realized collective SELF, there is no self realization. No one has ever known anyone truly self realized. There is a ceiling to self realization when it is in isolation. We are just as much the collective as we are the individual and at this point its pretty much war on the brain where humanity is concerned. As long as there is war in the world we arent SR - how could we be? As within so without and I am you and you are me.

I don't know if you can be self-realised there are always going to to questions about ourselfs and the world we live in which we can't answer: Is discovering who we are and where we fit in to this life part of the fun of living... i always want to learn more about myself so I don't believe in an absolute self- realisation.
Those who say they have found it are lying.

I can describe self-realization, but not self-realized people in a general sense. I think they would be a very diverse crowd.

They know who they are. There opinions, what they dislike and like. They absolutely know who they are. They aren't unsure of themselves at all. I think I am self realized.
