the two different meanings of the word:
Armageddon - The scene of a final battle between the forces of good and evil, prophesied to occur at the end of the world. final conflict between Christ and Antichrist. The idea of such a scene was
suggested by the Old Testament great battle-field, the plain of Esdraelon (The Bible)

Armageddon - A decisive or catastrophic conflict in which mankind is the cause of the end of the world. They called the first World War an Armageddon and the turn of the century 2000 (the millenium) an Armageddon.

Im not saying anyone can reply with definent answer but i'd like to know what you think, and why.

Im having wierd nightmares.But this one is the wierdest.
2 nights ago I dreamt that there was a lady running around killing everyone... like in stabbing/cutting them... theres blood everywhere. It looks like we are all in a church.So eventually it all comes down to me stopping her.
So I end up stabbing her in her heart, but in my dream its like I can actually feel the blade go through her. And i hack her up just to make sure shes dead. Anyways, so shes dead. So someone else and I start picking up the bodies and we suddently see that this woman is alive again and she sez that she drank a pill or sumthing that helped her heal. and she starts helping us pack the bodies.What does this mean!

I had a wierd dream last night. In my dream Im telling my fiances exgirlfrends mom (but we are all on good terms-like family) that some man told me he dreamt about our wedding. And she turns and sez to me (but she has a smile on her face) "Thats all the devils tales... a whole lot of worms". They are saved and very Godly and good people. This is really bothering me.

The dream:
I am really late for work so I jump out of bed and see my pet wolf (who died a year ago) whose been expecting to get fed a while ago. I told him that I am sorry, because I am really late for work, I'll give him some cheese, because I know he likes cheese, to tide him over until I get home from work. I told him I am sorry that I haven't seen hime in a long time but I have to got to work now. Then he sat down and watched me get his food dish and put some cheese in it. I give him a hug and I can feel him. He's soft and warm...

and at that very exact moment is when I woke up from this dream quite startled and I still am. By the way, I was not late for work. Tell me what do you think?

People use this logic:

1. All things have a cause.
2. If you go back far enough, there has to be a first.
3. The first cause was an Uncaused cause aka God.

Someone explain to me why the 3rd statement does not contradict the 1st?

This is an honest question and I am not supporting/denying the existance of a God. I just hear this logic all the time.

If you are to use Kiekergaard's explanation of infinity of potentiality cannot suddenly turn into actuality without some agent making that change, how can one be sure that this characteristic of God is the same God some religions talk about? What if, and there are, many different characteristics of God that people just lump them into one being just because our only word for this being is God? Was it our language's fault for not coming up with names for different characteristics of "God" ?

Idk, if I sound confusing, Ill add details for those that are confused.

We dated for a month before she broke up with me about 4 months ago. She said she wasn’t ready for an emotional relationship and she wanted us to be just friends. I was attached to her and I really couldn’t see myself being her friend and watch her go out with other guys, it was going to be too painful for me because I loved her, so I decided to cut off contact with her so that I can get over her. It has now been 2 months since we last spoke or saw each other and I miss her, clearly time didn’t make me get over her because I still love her and I feel this urge to talk to her again to find out how she's doing, but i think she'll be angry with me for ignoring her.

What should I do? Should I call her and ask her how she is, how she feels and how she’s doing or shouldn’t I?
