The Lord God sees after Adam and Eve eating the fruit, their eyes shall be open and know good and evil. But why the Lord God don't want them to know good the evil?

Personally, I think being good to others is one of the most respectable and honorable things a person can do. However, many think that kindness is a weakness. They believe those who are compassionate are ripe for destruction. Why must we always be ready to kill? Cannot those who wish to kill us be persuaded not to kill at all? Must we always be on guard?

Is it because they are just now learning that the computer/internet isn't the devil and won't bring the apocalypse? Or maybe they've discovered that the internet is another good place to spread propaganda....

Robert A. Heinlein, one of the great writers of science fiction, described the extension of human life by rejuvenation in some of his work. The issue of boredom and motivation to continue is discussed, and is quite interesting.

I know what it's like to have emotions. They give me feelings and the motivation for living. I just don't understand why life saw fit to develop them. When did emotions become a staple of life? I'm assuming that lower lifeforms such as bacteria don't have emotions.

Are emotions necessary to life?

We've all seen people post "that's a stupid question!"

Consider this: If a person without knowledge in an area asks a question from within that area, how can that person determine the stupidity of their own question?

Please Dad (Michael Anderson)

As soft winds sweep away the days
I look back on life through a haze.
Remember playgrounds, parks and friends,
In childlike gaze that never ends.
The laughter in a game of catch,
Shall memory ever attach...
To innocence in youthful eyes,
Catching the ball to Dad's surprise.

I recall my first bike, first wreck,
Who picked me up, said, "What the heck?"
Convinced me to give one more try,
While, knees skinned, I forgot to cry.
Just the joy knowing he was there,
Making him proud my only care.
There was nothing I couldn't do,
My heart held fast that to be true.

Though teenage years were kind of rough,
I sure wasn't too big or tough.
You taught me to defend what's right
And never back down from a fight.
So I learned the hard way to stand,
Still, with each lump, I found your hand.
Drawing from you an inner strength,
And stubborn pride of equal length.

But there the line of fate was drawn,
