Absolutely.

Look in the eyes of an infant, a toddler, a two-year old. Look up at the sky on any day of the year. Pay your respects to a loved one at a wake. Face your mortality and call for guidance.

God exists.

Yes, there is a lot of evil in the world. There are things that happen that will have you SCREAMING for divine intervention. Let your faith see you through.

Never mind the atheists who choose to deny his existence. Do not persecute them. Forgive them.

Never mind the fundamentalists who twist God's name for their earthly uses.

Do your part in YOUR part of the world. Live to set an example. Exhibit patience and MAKE the time to guide young ones. They will ask questions in pure innocence that will stretch your understanding of the world. Make the time to answer them completely. It will help you to sort out your own thoughts on many issues.

God exists within you, without you, all about you.

First, we need to know what we are talking about. You speak of god, so I now speak of god. Neither god is the real God, if one exists, as the god that is spoken about is not the Real God (adaptation of Tao principle; similar intimations are in ancient Jewish literature). I will loosely talk of God as being the Ultimate Reality in some sense.

Kurt Gödel, who showed that any mathematical theory that contains number theory is necessarily incomplete, also tried to prove that God exists, by an argument something like God is that entity that has all "positive" properties. Existence is a positive property. Therefore, God exists. However, all he proved was that all such Gods that satisfy all positive properties that exist exist; he did not show that a God actually exists.

There are numerous compelling arguments that show that God does not exist. For example, can God make a stone so big that even he can't lift it? Yes or no, a contradiction results. If God is omnipotent and omniscient, and is also good, then why does evil exist? That's contradictory, too. One can even show that God is Satan: God created everything including Satan; creation of an evil object is evil; hence God is evil, so God is Satan. But since God created Satan, he created himself - a contradiction.

These may all result from our trying to access the inaccessible Ultimate, but to me as far as my operative life is concerned, this means that God does not exist. It is especially true that the God of many of the religions of the world, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, does not exist; I would hope it doesn't exist, since a previous question suggested that the Biblical God killed 2 million people as opposed to 10 for Satan.

God does not exist.

From the logical perspective, it is impossible for one to try and deny God's existence without first acknowledging its presence. If you also look into Heraclitus and some greek philosophy, they go on to say that mankind could only be endowed with the knowledge they obtain from a single source (the logos). This means our imperfect knowledge and form can be traced back to that of a single source or starting point. Many refer to this as God since it is an all perfect and knowing entity. And the reason we can't see God is because perfect must have no form unless it chooses to become imperfect. As for God being evil or Satan in a religious view, it would depend on if evil was created by God, or whether evil was an imperfection that spawned from God. If God created Satan and he turned his back on God, then one can say that Satan was created with the imperfected form of logic received from the source.

I heard he exists..but to tell you the truth...we'll all looking for someone to pin the blame on..don't put your faith in god ,start putting your faith in yourself..years ago when people started believing the mythological character greater themselves...the concept was let's create something that is more powerful than ourselves..it's hard to believe in something you'd never seen..like John Lennon said.. god is a concept

Depends who you ask. If you ask Nietzsche he would tell you that God is dead. (this is the Philosophy section isn't it)

If you ask me, I think God exists, its just that the definition of God is wrong.

Nobody really knows, one way or another regardless of what they claim. It's a possiblilty and that's all. To claim otherwise is the same as looking into a dark room you've never seen before and claiming you know what's inside.

Yes. How did the universe become so perfectly perfect?
How come microorganisms are sooo complex?
How did the eye form?
Why are there perfectly preserved fossils everywhere but no in between animals? (hint of the flood?)
What else could have caused this?
