I hate these 'blow by blow' descriptions of children being molested. Do we 'need' these details or is it pure sensationalism? I am also sick of hearing 'f-ing this f-ing that' as it is only obviously the reference to the uck of the word and is a horrid example for 'everyday talk', likewise hearing the word whore and ***** is an insult to all women and I don't appreciate hearing it used over and over on Phil's program. What do you think?

my mom is working on a photo project of my bro and sis and i - and photos are all over my house. After looking at them i realize that i have been in atleast 5 very different states of mind: (starting from little girl) daddys girl, super rebelious, snob, retarted ho & now unsure of anything - looking back on my old pics i was never any of these other people before.... they say the body rebuilds itself every 7 years - do you think that the soul maybe does too?

Where the most thing beautiful things in life are more important to you than others, including family? When children and loved ones become second best to your dreams?

Is it a selfish endeavor to clamour towards the holy grail of your very existence and ride contently in the vehicle that is driving your purpose for life towards a goal that will make your soul illuminate artistically in the consciousness of humanity?

If we abandon the vehicle, or soul, that drives us towards our selfish passions, are we not wasting life?

And you could never ask them another question, What would you ask them? What exactly would you want to know from them that would sedate all other questions?
Thank you!

I, for one, don't like it when people say that to me/each other. But truly... Here's a deep one for ya...

If you WERE me, wouldn't you be typing this question right now, expecting SOMEONE to give you PROOF that we are not each other? Or maybe it is that we are who we are and if we were someone else, we'd still be who we are/were?

Perhaps we are truly part of a whole and all doing precisely what we're SUPPOSED to be doing for our part to be whole?

Lost in the depth...

hey ive had this same dream a couple times and i wonderd if anyone new what it could mean.
ok
so im sleeping in my room and i have my cat on my lap and then my cat gets very startled like cats do and jumps of me and startles me up and i look out my window (wich is directly in front of my bed) and there is a huge black dog barking at me and raming its claws against my window im so scarred i cant move or make noise then i wake up in a cold sweat

i think what freaks me out the most about this dream is how real it feals because im not in some magical place im in my room and my cat freaks out all the time.

so ya.

alot of 13-19 year olds showing up on yahoo Q & A.

I had quiet wrongly assumed this was an adult convo! Given some of the racey comments and creative answers we are posting. Anyone else disconcerted by this?

( No disrespect meant to the 17-19 year olds!)

I ask this question because it so often happens that the answer chosen as 'best answer' would not be chosen by someone who had any familiarity with the subject. When this happens it is often the simplest answer that is favored (the one that requires the least thought to evaluate). Anyone who knows philosophy knows it is rarely if ever about simple, one-liner answers.

The present question might be given either a philosophical or a factual answer, but I prefer the former :-)
