for awhile it'll probaby be selfish. but eventually i think i would miss all those "roles" people depended on for me...sister, daughter, friend, girlfriend, etc...and eventually u will gravitate towards it again. that is why it is SO important to keep ur head level, and try hard not to take things for granted. being dissatisfied w/ ur life is the Easy thing to do.. doing something to make it better and feel fulfilled is hard, but ultimately Worth it in so many ways. i think that's why people who come into a lot of money Want to donate to charity, and then they end up becoming more cheap because they want to keep their money. they have to consciously try not to let it go to their heads, which takes a lot of strength, but is admired by all.

Self is man and man is a different mind than G*d. If self is where you are then that is where your Heart is. That would make you selfish. And that is greed and that is sin. So and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Sure, you want to be with self? For if you do then you will be so alone.
But wait there is one who sees us as possible changelings. As a child of G*d and a brother. His name is Yeshua (Jesus) and he died and we risen from the dead to pay for your mistakes in this life that are contrary to G*d's will.
"I DO ALWAYS those things that please Him" (John 8:29).
Ye adulterers and adulteresses know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. ( Jam 4:4 )
So Selfish Self is short lived. G*d gave us life but he did not promise us a bed of roses but rather something to do forever and to have purpose.
G*d offers another way. Love others as your self. Yes your self but others as well.
It is a command of the one whom is to return to rule the world a 1000 years, which will change man’s, mind most definitely.
God's Love
"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16)
And Jesus said, "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly"
(John 10:10) To do that one must change their mind about life.
"The carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the Law of God, indeed can be. (Romans 8:7)
The word "enmity" is better translated HOSTILE from the Greek.
"The FOOL has said in his heart, There is no God."
(Psalms 14:1)
"As it is written, There is NONE righteous, no, not one; there is NONE that understands; there is NONE that seeks after God. They have ALL turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is NONE who does good, no, not one" (Romans 3:10-12)
"But we are ALL like an unclean thing, and ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESSES ARE LIKE FILTHY RAGS; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away" (Isaiah 64:6)
Mans way of thinking is not G*d's way of thinking.
For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. ( Isa 55:8 )
It is a matter of simply changing your mind and following the instruction book for the human race. Believing in Jesus as your Lord/King (leader) and savior. Believe that he died for your sins on the cross and was risen up from the dead to ascend to the right hand of God. So pray to the one whom loves you. God.
