don't listen to them. if she's more powerful than you're then forgiving is cowardliness and stupidity. an eye for an eye is the first civilized law by Iraqi king, Hammurabi, 2800 BC. it's protection for the weak and the poor against the strong and the rich. forgiveness is better, but don't let her really hurt you.

your way of writing hurts, but i like it, it's cool!

Ok, now that I've made it through YoUr wiTinG I cAn aNsWer:

The fact that most of your co-workers are around your age and this woman is 40 tells me that you and your coworkers are a lot older than she is. I don't know what kind of work you do but if she's in the same position you are and she's a lot older then she is probably resentful and she thinks being an informant will get her somewhere with management. Usually people like that are NOT appreciated by management. They are tolerated.

I'm in senior management and whenever someone comes to me to tell me a bunch of stuff about someone else the first question in my mind is "What is their agenda?" So, if I were you I'd just stay away from her, do your job to the best of your ability and ignore her. You may end up being her boss one day and that will be your best revenge.

well.. something like that happened to me.. and there are ALWAYS gonna be old bitter ladies working @ desk jobs...trust me i know they're EVERYWHERE. the thing is, i work really hard. i play occasionally too (obviously i'm on Q&A a lot haha) but i get my **** done. and they do all they can to point their fingers at ANYONE else but themselves when something goes wrong, which is why u have to cover ur butt. if u do all things right and know what ur doing, they can't touch you. esp when my boss, and all the upper management know i'm doing a good job..so when the other ladies blame things on me, they don't believe them cuz they know i am responsible. don't try to get back at them (they have had more experience than u at being mean, and they have nothing else to do but make ur life miserable, whereas u have a life i'm sure). just make sure u never end up like them!! :) keep ur head up.... try not to do anything bad at work for awhile so u look good.

Rather than getting back at her, your goal should be stopping the behavior. You could confront her, or you could try being her friend, if she is that bitter, maybe she needs a friend. Or you could come up with some other plan, or talk to your boss about it. Think about it, be logical and come up with a real solution.

First, get your keyboard fixed. It seems as though your shift or caps lock key keeps activating.

Second... What have you done to be "ratted" on? If you actually haven't done anything, let her make a fool of herself by telling on you for nothing. If you are doing things to get in trouble... STOP.

I am just curious... What does her not having been married or having a boyfriend have to do with this situation?

I have one of these buttwipes where I work, too.
I try my best to ignore her, because if I bring it the boss' attention, he thinks I'm picking on her. If I'm bitchy back at her, she just turns around to be even more mean to me.
So, what I've learned to do is just ignore her the best I can, and I can go home every night knowing that I am a better person than she is because I did my best, and I wasn't vengeful.

Try to forgive her as much as you can..
maybe even try to reach to her, the woman needs like mental help lol
try talking to her or something
coz an eye for an eye would make the whole world blind u know

she is set in her ways and you have to forgive her to a point if it is to get your job then you better talk to the boss.

try being nice maybe by a card for her and put it on her desk and smile when she is bitter a smile works wonders. tell her you for give her.

the eye for an eye reference in the bible was before Jesus died to forgive everyone.
we should forgive eachother if we want our Father in Heaven to forgive us.
keep being a good person. you'll regret stooping to her level.
stay strong!
hope this helps :D
