I'm new to song writing and I'm trying to understand the basics. Please bear with me. I'm green. So, do song syllables follow any rules about syllable count? I'm just guessing this is how lyrics are written. Any links also appreciated.

I need a song to sing for an audition for a thing like American Idol at my school. I'd like to sing a fun song, and I'm thinking about Downtown. I think a classic song or oldies songs would be really fun... if you have any good ideas please do tell!!!

I am a 15 year old boy who has been interested in modeling for a while. I have been told by family and friends that I should pursue it. I really have no idea where to start, my mom is reluctant to pay for classes, and she suggested approaching an agency with some normal 3x5 pictures taken of me. Is this a good idea? I have researched legitimate modeling agencies around the Orlando area, but do not know if that is the correct path that I should take.

My friend is looking for opportunities to get into films or commercials as an extra.
He has already paid quite a bit for photos by 1 company claiming to be able to send him parts.
He has tried websites but they all want a monthly or a substantial annual fee to send you job leads.

Is there a way to find jobs without having to submit your Credit Card info?

My school's Talent Show is coming up soon, and I can not decide on a song to sing for it. I have to keep it under 3 minutes, but preferably 2. I need to keep it school appropriate. I am a Soprano, but i do good in the Middle notes, but can mostly everything. Can I have a few suggestions?

I recently saw an extremely large evangelical church and was shocked by the complexity of the lighting/ sound/ projection set-ups it had. Do they hire professional theatre technicians to run these set-ups? If so, what is their pay-scale like (I can only imagine how much money these people must have.)

I'm seeking a SIMPLE version of a History of PDQ Bach. So far, I learn that he is "the least child of the Great musical composer, Johannes Sebastian Bach."
PDQ was so relented that when his family referred to him, they used backward dates (1807-1742.)
What other "tid-bits" of information can be dug up about this not-for-longed musical composer?
Thanks for all references.
