The backdrop of our church Easter play is Mt. Calvary - we need to find an easy and quick way to make light weight rocks. We need rocks piled at the base of the cross.

I know people who fall into both categories and I can't figure out which is more upsetting to me. I'm leaning towards the first, though.

According to wikipedia: vocalist Marie-Ève Munger performed the complete Diva Dance before a live audience, and her performance was later aired on Québec television as part of a promotion for a televised boxing event. Anyone know where to find this? It's not on you tube or bitorrent, as far as I could tell. Thanks.

In other words, are some people just born with vocal chords and such that are just better suited for singing? If you took lessons your whole life, would you keep improving or would you eventually get to a point where you would reach a physical limitation to where you simply could not improve? I hate my singing voice. Can you tell?

I signed up for my school's talent show and I'm soooo nervous ... It's in April and already I'm freaking out about what to wear and how to do my hair ... etc etc. But most of all I'm worried about singing ... the most people I've ever sang in front of was when I tried out for the drama club at my school last year, and I choked in the middle of the song (but I still got a small part in the play). Can someone give me some tips that will calm me down a little ?

folks i need your help, trying to save money so what little money i have i decided to get a Fender Starcaster 6-String Full-Size Dreadnaught Acoustic Guitar. it was like 140 bucks.... so i decided to start to play guitar as a way to occupy myself instead of going out to places and spending all my money on useless stuff and adding more debt. so i guess my questions is have any you found any good learning tools for playing acoustic guitar? dvd, PC programs stuff like that? I'm not a big book reader so i'm trying to stay away from that, any info would be appreciated...

Thx

Some people say that anyone can pretend to play a guitar and scream over a microphone. Others say that anyone can simply talk over a beat. These are both caricatures because rap and rock involve much more skill and creativity than simply screaming over a microphone or rhyming over a beat. As a listener of both, my impression is that rap demands more creativity in the studio but rock demands more skill on stage. What do others think about it?

Please I would appreciate answers from people who like both types of music, not ignorant people who say things like "rock is gay" or "rap isn't music". I know for a fact that both have crappy songs (which are the majority) but both also produce some awesome songs.
