The school will help train you in those skills. Most of your classes in the day will consist of whatever you are intereested in pursuing. So if you want to be an actor you might have like math history and then 2 acting classes and a vocal class or something that day. The part of getting an agent they may be able to recommend someone but they will not get yoou an agent as that is a big step that you should make on your own. They will definately inform you when they find out aboout shows and oppurtunities. Many shows go to these schools first to have them send their talent

i am almost the same as you. wierd. i want to go into music. well...i would imagine that if you are going to go to an arts high school that they will get you on track to becoming better. and i dont think that they would get you an agent right off the bat because you are only in 7th grade. but if you really want the answers to these questions why dont you try e-mailing the shcool? they would know more than anyone on here i imagine. that is what i did to find out about some good music colleges and they told me everything i wanted to know and more. hope i helped.

well, if you are interested in the arts, then yes take the first step and apply for an arts school. as far as getting an agent goes....i'm not 100% sure if they do that for you. but do talk to the prinicipal of the high school and ask what they do offer at their school. but there are also guidance counselors do help you find the perfect universities if you want to continue your career in the arts. hope that helps. good luck. =)

the school will do something for you - but you will have to publicise yourself too, as extra, by getting stuff printed and having DVDs made and decent photos take - go for it!
