I was showing my violin-and-piano arrangement of Faure's Pavane to one of my friends, and she exclaimed, 'Oh, this is a classical piece? I thought it was a pop song!' These artistes are guilty of causing impressionable young people to know classical pieces under a false name.

Just about any tip, or a flicker of inspiration or technique, or how things come to be for you that become a song, how it becomes a song... that would be great.

(I always find myself stuck with the first verse. I can't seem to get into the chorus. I've tried a few attempts but this time it's really important I write one.)

Cheers!

I just heard the song Dueling Banjos performed by the Raleigh Ringers on handbells, and my handbell choir would like to know where we could find the sheet music for this (or any other song performed by the Raleigh Ringers, like We Will Rock You, Flight of the Bumblebee, Come Sail Away, etc). I have been unsuccessful at locating anything online. If you have it, or know where to get it, that would be great!

I'm gonna be in the chorus and I'm having trouble finding the score at the librarys. Is this show really old that they hardly have scores for? And, I ended up getting the easy piano score w/some songs in it w/lyrics. Do you know how often the chorus is in the show cause I'm not sure if the book I have has all the songs. If you know, can you tell me what songs they sing. Thanks.

I would like to keep the cost to a minimum if it all possible, but still get that jazzy sound. Would it be best to get a metal one or a special kind of plastic one? I have been playing for a five years now.

During the 50s and 60s there was a touring group of actors that went to various locations including schools and did plays

The Sauline Players

What happened to them and are they still active today?
Thanks in advance

As a singer, I have always dealt with performance anxiety at performances/auditions. The physical manifestations of the anxiety sometimes affect my voice (shortness of breath, tightness, tremors).
I have recently been given a perscrption for beta blockers (propanolol 10mg) I understand that this will help with the physical symptoms. I feel a bit guitly about this however, that it might give me an unfair advantage, especially at an audition, in that everybody else has to deal with the same anxiety. Is it like steroids or blood doping, or is it simply dealing with a condition. If a was offered a performing contract as a result of an audition done under a beta blocker, would I be doing it under false pretenses?
Have tried other stress reliever, i.e Yoga, deep breathing.
