from a proffesional teacher and if you really wanted to learn.. or do you know how much they charge for an hour/half hour?

Most proffesional teachers will charge about $30-$40 for a half hour lesson. If it is an hour long lesson they will most likely charge more. There are also some teachers who will give group lessons, these are generally about an hour long, and about the same price as a private half hour lesson, but of course the amount of individual attention is less than for a private lesson.

I hope this helped you, and answered your question!

depends on the experience/quality of the teacher. But I know of some that go as high as 60 per hour. But if you want business keep it 30 - 40 per hour, maybe 50. If i really wanted to learn, max i'd pay is probably 40 (if the teacher was awesome).

Depends on the stature of the teacher and how much in demand they are. If you are taking a lesson from the local guitar shop, you might get by with paying fifteen to forty five dollars, but if you wanted to take a lesson from a master teacher, you might pay hundreds for the same amount of time. IT all depends on how much demand they are in, how many students they already have, and how fussy you are about who teaches you!

I would really pay for them. Its not that hard to learn. but it takes time to learn the storkes of cords. If you can read music, then all you need to do is buy a music book full of the new his songs and easy songs like happy birthday. Trust me you will pick up on it fast. I am cheap so I would say $30 at most

I live in England, and I pay the equivalent of about $30 a half-hour session, I think it's worth it because my teacher has provoked such improvement in me.
