Lots of little girls want to be the next Mariah Carey or Christina Aguilera. But the real world is a very tough place to be and to be completely honest with you 12 is far to young.

Parents who push their siblings into showbiz careers are doing the wrong thing as they are being robbed of their childhood and innocence.

However, there is nothing wrong with being creative and encouraging music through a school choir or small young persons drama group maybe even a community choir that would be willing to accept children.

The other thing is many parents feel that their little angels are truly gifted and in many cases they are not, they are just average kids who can hold a tune.

Having said all of this if you are keen try asking whether she can have music lessons and singing lessons as part of her existing school subjects. In Britian education is free up to the age of 18 provided they are in a school situation. Other than that the other source is private tuition via a qualified source a singing teacher or maybe even a private education.

Whatever you decide to do will hopefully be within budget as once you start spending on a music career it is the only area in which you are not guaranteed a return on expenditure.

The music industry is a private one and this is a concept many young people or indeed regional working musicians have never quite grasped.

You sister should start with a singing teacher / voice coach asap and preferably be classically trained. She doesn't have to just sing classical stuff but it is the best possible training a voice can have. X-Factor etc is the worst possible start as after any short lived success her career would sink without trace. People in the business generally don't respect the talent show lot so when she is ready a better alternative would be to do the pubs and clubs and get a decent agent.

could or no longer that's brainwashing if the mum and dad specifically raised their daughter to grow to be a extreme powered buisness women? From what you have stated it fairly is as though being a housewife is a foul situation, fairly much equivalent to life long abode arrest. some women like looking after the abode and childrens. i'm effective some adult males could do a similar in the event that they have been effective they'd not get nasty comments approximately it; as though they are no longer a real guy. Edit: approximately ninety% of my extreme college instructors stated i could quantity to no longer something and grow to be a drug person, in part using fact of city I stay in. i'm now doing a BA degree on the only college interior the international who at present coach my blended English and proffesional writing path. adverse comments frequently paintings any opposite direction and brainwashing would not continuously paintings.

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/hgOlm an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.

At the moment she should be thinking about getting trained up - lessons, theatre school - and then when she is older she can go on X Factor, do auditions, get an agent, whatever else appeals.

hmm...well you definately need to get her out there... [known] pageants, modeling, or you could make a cd recording and give it to someone in the record buisness [as most people do]....
=] singing careers are hard to hold on to...especially when you're 12 trying to make it....be careful with your little sis.... it will be very hard on her....

Aren't they all, love. Good luck to her, but all 12 year olds want to be famous don't they?
