Absolutely. There are specific vocal exercises you can do to help expand your range. One of them is by singing an octave from the bottom note to the top note and back down again. Then, you go to the next note up and do it again. Perform this until you max at the top of your range and then perform it down until you max at the bottom of your range. Good luck, hon!

It is definitely possible. Using exercises and especially seeing a voice teacher will help. One way that I found helpful is to find a song that explores the upper & lower parts of your range and sing that. Even if you can't hit some of the notes yet, keep singing it & pretty soon you will be able to. Watch out for straining your vocal chords, thats not fun. At the first sign of your throat hurting, stop. Make sure you warm up first & stretch your back & neck, no matter how silly it sounds, it really works. Lastly, if you don't practice, you will most likely loose some of your range, trust me, from experience. Good Luck!

It is absolutely possible. I have been working with a voice coach for about 2 years now and my range has gotten even higher. But if you don't want to go through a voice coach if you listen to opera and things like that frequently your range will improve. Keep in mind though that your range will improve but your tone may not. Just make sure that your vocal chords aren't straining and that you aren't hurting yourself or you can do a lot of damage. And always remember you want to project from your abdomen and not your throat and that will put less strain on your vocal chord.

Definitely. Mel Blanc, the Loony Tunes original voice actor, had a throat doctor who said he had the strongest vocal chords of anybody he'd ever seen. I deliberately try to sing on the same octave as Godsmack sometimes, just to try to open up those deeper ranges. It's taken me about four years, but it's worked, and I can sing Voodoo all the way through at the same range now. Same with Tori Amos and her high notes. Keep it up.

If the beginning singer needs to stay within a budget, the online option may be a good choice, at least while learning some basic skills. There are many online sites that claim to teach

people to sing, but care should be taken to find a legitimate site with credentials. The singer would not want to waste time with an inferior vocal training site that may even cause harm

to the singer's voice. The singer may want to sing a song so badly that he or she will neglect the basic steps and try to sing before the voice is ready.

It is best never to exeed your vocal range because then your clarity is shot out the door.

If you want o hit higher notes, you can stretch your vocals up a notch perhaps two octaves, but that is best until you have an operation to opn your nsal capacity and that allows higher notes easily.\
Michel Jackson had it done and it works.

It's very possible. I've been studying with one teacher for about 6 months and my range has extended tremendously. Practicing alone isn't going to help....you NEED to practice with a good technique because if you practice with a bad one (i.e. trying to scream into higher ranges), you'll end up doing more damage than good. I highly suggest lip trilling in octaves and scales to get started.

Absolutely. Many succesful and naturally talented singers do just that. I suggest you hire a vocal coach for help. Good luck.
