hehehe that's basic stuff. Any guitar teacher should be able to teach you strum patterns like that. Once you can do the chord changes, apply the strum patterns and you're set.

BTW if you want to hear a great strum pattern, find the opening to "Higher Power" by Boston. Whenever I hear it, I start strumming the air. It makes me want to move.

Basically, it's talent. then the desire and practice. It's all up to you. That is one thing that no one else can do for you.

My daughter plays rhythm guitar in a band. My father and his three brother's played in a band for 50 years and never had a lesson. That is when it truly come from talent and enjoying what they were doing.
