I'm fifteen and have a range from (D2-F2)G2-E4. Well in the mornings, just after I'd woken up, I'd have a tremendous low register. Well, now when I get up I can barley hit an F2. Throughout the day my voice fluctuates from allowing me to hit the D above Deep C with power to not even being able to sing below the bass staff. At various times in the past two months or so my voice has dropped into the profundo range for a day or so and then risen back up. I've heard that voice the voice begins fluctuating rapidly like this that it'll be close to mature in about six months. Then I read that bass voices don't develop until close to 20 or 25. Also, singing in a semi forced head voice allows me to then drop down and sing in the bass register. What can having this quite low register at my age mean (contrabass later in life)? How much longer could it take my voice to develop? J.D. Sumner worked to become a bass starting at four years old, any ideas on what he did to develop his voice? Thanks

a musical instrument (preferably the guitar, but my cousin plays it and I don't want to be a "copy-cat"). So does anyone have any suggestions of a musical instrument?

The Yamaha YAS23 alto saxophone features a clear durable baked-on epoxy lacquer finish. Nickel plated power-forged keys provide excellent durability while the refined tone hole dimensions and placement provide superior intonation. Is it good enough for a first year of band?

What do you think of the masterclasses videos by Pavarotti, Domingo, Callas and others that are offered at www.youtube.com. I think the video classical performances are awesome, and great learning aids.

I am 20 years old college student study and live in New York City. I have done some acting in high school. I can sing and dance, both which I am still learning. I love to listen to Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Dean Martin. I also love Broadway and MGM musicals. My style of singing is jazz, rock & roll, and crooning.

My major in college is business administration (particularly in the concentration of international trade, marketing, and finance). I can sing and I can sing good, but I don't have any background in music, whether playing music or reading notes. Now I want to start off as a singer/dancer or actor on Broadway, then may be later on to the movie industry. What college courses should I study? Where should I start, would you say Broadway or some small theater? Who should I contact or look for to have myself and my talent to be discover? How should I market myself?

when i am singin my scales..normal voice=low A for bass below middle C up to a middle E and sometimes an F, then i flip usually at the E and go up to a high F above middle C in soprano notes and sometimes an A..used to be a C!!(two actaves above middle C)and then i could go down to a G below middle C in flasesetto..but my old voice teacher said that i could hit the middle E dead on in my normal AND falsetto voices and said that that was rare and makes it hard to transition....which it does cuz i dont know if i should sing the E in my normal voice or in my head voice? and how do u flip smoothly or so its "unnoticeable" that u did flip and make the transtition to flasetto? so, through my range of notes in my two voices where woudl be a good time to flip?ive been practicin for sum time now to make the flip smooth but i cant get it...adn dont know where lol....any suggestions? so to anyone who understands what i am tryign to et at please do your best to help me!!! thanks!!!

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
