Yes they are. The gas is actually methane which is flammable. Wouldn't recommend trying to light one. I have seen some serious burns as a result of doing this.

yes, because I've lit them before. When u feel one brewing, lay down on your back, spread your legs, light a lighter near your bunghole, and let it rip!! Make sure u have pants on!!
