When you look at history, why do so many Christians completely ignore the commandment, "Thou Shalt not Kill"? Did they think that if it was in war, power, money, etc., it was excused? Even now many Christian's believe in the death penalty, which is completely against the New Testament. And Murder is one of the things that society holds as the number one worse thing anyone can do. I am not sure about in the past, but I am sure it was still pretty serious if someone be put to death for something that harmed no one. And it is not just Christians. Look at the Middle East. How come so many deaths/murders are caused by people of religions that most condemn it?

In 1776, 90% of American gunpowder was imported, mostly from France. French naval help was crucial to the victory at Yorktown, as the British were surrounded on land and sea. Also French, Spanish and Dutch navies held down the British navy at sea. So do you think that the Americans could have won the war of independence without foreign aid? Personally I doubt it.

I chose WWII POW Camps in Texas for meh History Fair Project and I don't have that many resources, or much correct information. The theme for this year is "Conflict and Compromise," how can my topic relate to that?

I know there are some POW Camps in Texas but websites keep giving me information about German and Japanese camps, or veterans. Does anyone have any information on POW Camps in Texas?

Ever since the US was born, what have been some things that it has done that make it such a hated country today. All the way back from the 117th century, moving on the the 18th, 19th, the 20th century, and now, the 21st century. Why do so many people hate us? What is it that the US has actually done?
