I remember growing up hearing stories of Joseph Stalin and how he ran his empire.

It was said that if he didnt like you, he could just simply point you out, and a KGB would put a bullet in your head before you knew what happened.

He killed many generals for their actions during World War II and the near loss.

It was reported that in all he ordered the deaths of some 20 mil people in Russia.

Yet Hitler besides the war deaths orders 6 mil deaths.

In a way id say Stalin was.

No wonder why so many people wanted to take the invasion of Europe to Moscow instead of stopping in Germany.

I was watching a "Amazing Race" a few weeks ago, and one of their stops was Auschwitz. They didnt have a chance to really go through it all though its obviously open to the public by the looks of it.

Instead they were to light a candel at a candel stand and say a prayer for the dead.

My question, is that after 61 years, shouldnt a place so evil.... hell it looks evil light up at night, and whats left looks like Hiroshima after the atom bomb, be torn down?

Isnt it more of a reminder of a time of pure evil then a memorial to the dead?

I have heard Christians make the claim that America was founded on Christianity. This is a claim I reject. But even granting that this were true, it raises another important question. Even if we grant this nation is founded on Christianity, should it be? Germany was a Nazi nation in 1933, but is that good? Christians commit a historical fallacy in claiming that since something is historical, it is correct or good. Based on that logic, slavery should be reinstated and only wealthy male landowners should be allowed to vote. Even if this nation were founded on Christianity, which it isn't, I believe that we should "UNFOUND" and employ a separation of church and state. Not just because its in the Constitution in the very first amendment, but because it is the right thing to do.
