First of all, I know of many Jews who maintained great dignity during Nazi Germany. They may have had everything they owned taken from them, their family killed, even lost their lives themselves; but that does not mean that their spirits and sense of self did not rise to the occasion.

So I do not believe their, or anybody's internal dignity and grace can be taken away from somebody without their permission.

Things to add to your list: family, friends, school, childhood, tangible assets, and unfortunately in some cases, faith.

Ironically, even today Germany bears a loss of dignity, justice, honor, and respect for their own country due to the guilt of the holocaust. A great many people left the country before and after the Nazi regime because they didn't agree with what happened. Next generations went out of their way to marry people that were the furthest thing from the Aryan ideal, including different ethnicities and Jews. As it stands right now, Germany's population is dropping to the point that they are offering free childcare and other incentives to its citizens to have children. Also dual citizenship to the children of German immigrants in the USA (and maybe elsewhere) is being offered.

How's that for having the sins commited visited threefold upon them?

1. In April of 1933, the "Law for the Restoration of Professional Civil Service" banned Jews from occupying government positions, leaving these jobs open for so-called Aryan Germans. As far as I know, this was the first racial law.

2. The infamous Nerumberg Laws (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_policy_of_Nazi_Germany) are the ones that really separated the Jews from the rest of the Germans. The thing is, most Germans were OK with this because the Nazi propaganda machine was so powerful and so convincing that many honestly believed many of the Nazi's policies were necessary for their country and weren't actually very bad for the Jews. Even the naming of the laws is intentionally misleading. I've listed a quick run down of them below...check out the website above for more details.

a. The Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor - prohibits Jews from marrying Germans.
b. The Reich Citizenship Law - stripped anyone not considered to be of German blood of their citizenship.

3. 1936 - Jews were banned from all professional jobs and careers, including educational and political.

There were more laws and rules, all of which made real the party's long-held antisemitic beliefs. It was a terribly sad ordeal and stands as a reminder that citizens of all nations to be vigilant, to pay attention to the actions of their government, and to stand up when people are systematically discriminated against.

Citinzenship and the right of ownership just to name only two things. The fact is that jews have no right of any kind. They were not looked as human beings by the Nazis. They were enslaved, imprisoned, tortured, killed, the list goes on.
