It could have been more reasonable because germans was the only guilty of jew holocaust not the palestinian people. On the contrary, allies helped Israel to invade a innocent country, just based in the fundamentalist idea of the "promised land". I find it very unjust.

What do you think World War Three will be about, and where will it take place? I personally think the Germans are cooking something up for the occasion. It appears to be a German Tradition to start major fights or atleast take place in them.

I know many people were against the Vietnam war, the country did not want that war. That war was was lost.
Many people did not want the Iraq war, many people are against it, and that war is as good as lost.

Is having a lot of people against the war a major factor in winning or losing a war?

Was there another war where a lot people were against it, yet the USA won anyway?

Victorian gowns in museums look very small, many don't seem much bigger than a 4. However, photographs of the time show many women who were bigger than that size. Lillie Langtry, who was one of the most beautiful women of the age had a 38" bust and 38" hips.

I remember learning in school that there was some sort of arrangement after World War I which meant that Germany had to disarm their military, and were not allowed to amass such a huge army again.
Why wasn't this agreement kept? Did nobody see it coming? Wasn't there anything anyone could have done to stop the Germans from creating the huge military force that they used in World War II?
Could such a massive loss of life been avoided?

I was watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and it reminded me of something that I wanted to ask for a long time. It was the staple food back then and they traveled with it. How did they make it so it wouldn't get moldy and hard as a rock like bread does today? Or did they pick off or eat the mold as well and just crunched into it?
