i'm doing a report on a certain pharaoh and i don't know which one to pick since i don't know much about them. i'm trying to find a pharoah who has a good military history or any pharaoh who accomplished big things. please include references. thanks.

Hatshepsut, she was the first female pharaoh. I believe her son was the pharaoh, and she controlled him, so he hated her for that, and she eventually took the throne. She's very inspiring and proves that girls can do what boys do, lol.

Or you could do it on Amenhotep who completely abolished polytheisim (worshipping of several deities) and forced the Egyptians to worship on one god which was Aton so Amenhotep changed his name to Ahkenaton and changed the artistic style. So during his time, art changed from "perfect" looking "godlike" figures to more realistic figures in which it was aware that the pharaoh was not perfect. But everyone hated Ahkenaton and as soon as he died, they went back to their old style and conventions.

I think Ramses II will fit. He left a huge amount of records behind in the form of carvings in his temples, the best known of which are at Abu Simbel
