For school, I am writing a fake letter as if I'm an Irish immigrant who came to America (around 1847), back to my fake Irish family. I'm suppose to tell them of my journey...
So, what was the journey like for an Irish immigrant coming to the U.S. back then? Like, they got on a boat and then what? How did some come legally/illegally, etc? What was it like once they got there? Where in the states, did most arrive?
If you have details/ideas that would help, I'd be grateful if you shared them!
Thanks! :)

Everyone knows (though a few dispute it) that Al-Qaeda attacked us on 9/11.
Many know that we are fighting them overseas.
Many know that Law Enforcement is taking them on here.
Do you know when OBL issued his first and when he issued his second declaration of war against us?
Do you know how AQ is organized?
Do you know how it has evolved since first set up in 1984?

Are you interested enough in knowing our enemy to actually take a look at a few of the details?
In my latest article: "Know your enemy-301: The origins and organization of Al-Qaeda" I examine these and other issues of it.

No politics. Just the groundtruth from a combat veteran that has been to both fronts on the war on terror, backed up by independent research and historical study.
I'm not here for the glory. I get no money nor notoriety for my endeavors to give you a better knowledge of the war. No one here knows me.

I am puzzled by all the racism against black people everywhere, by almost every nationality, what did they do to cause the hatred aflicting blacks.

Spain was invaded by Moors...and so was Sicily, people on here have told me before that the Moors were black. Some said mainly arab. I have looked up people from Spain and Italy and seen the obvious middle eastern influence in their faces. But I never saw a black-looking Spainard on Myspace. Yes im too poor to go to Europe and I have to look on myspace. But we are generalizing here. Many people use myspace.

I have heard that 25% are hispanic-americans, but how many are irish-americans, polish-americans, italian-americans, etc. or how many are of mixed ethnic origin. I know back in the 1930's as well as today many catholic ethnicities are intermarrying as well as many converts are marrying in and out of the religion.

According to Thomas Jefferson - "Christianity...(has become)
the most perverted system that ever shone on man...Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and importers led by Paul, the first greatest corrupter of the teaching of Jesus."

"There is strong reason to believe that St. Paul fabricated the belief system of Christianity from Zorastrian mythology in order to hide Paul's plagiarism." George Sarton - History of Sciences

While Paul never met Jesus, he was able to convince some gullible followers that he had seen Jesus in a vision.
