Hi,
I want to learn about the history of South America - particularly the contribution of Simon Bolivar.
What are good books to start?

Here's what Amazon.com has on Simon Bolivar. There over 4,000 selections, so try to narrow it down.

Here is the link to Amazon.com for South America History. There are over 11,000 selections, so again just narrow it down to what looks good to you.

Good luck. I will be taking a course in Latin America at college this semester, so I will know how enjoyable it is to read about Latin America as a whole.

I reccomend that you watch Mel Gibson's, ' Apocalypto'. It cleared up a lot for me.
