I would change before 9/11. I would make sure our air force was very well defended and on alert. Because of our air defence not being the way it i now. 100's of innocent people died because of Geroge Bush!

One of my professor''s, who teaches Church History and American Religious Tradition, jokingly said that EVANGELICALISM is a code word for WHITE, MIDDLE/UPPER CLASS & CONSERVATIVE. (Of course he was speaking in normative terms, this does not categorize every single person)

How would you as an evangelical respond to this?

I wasn't a big fan back in the day, but he did accomplish a lot and his crimes were pretty trivial compared to what's going on lately. I mean, compared to the six guys we've had since, he looks like Solomon the Wise and definite Rushmore material.

Can I get an Amen?

Today at Barnes and Noble, i was looking around and I saw something I have allways wanted to buy....A dvd collection of very rare and famous movies made by Thomas Edison as old as from 1891. The thing is, it was priced at $100. I would buy it for $30 at the most. I have many of the movies on there on a DVD I made myself. What would an appropriate price be for antique movies such as these?

This is in the History category because I have no idea where else to put it...

I understand why communism doesn't work but what else can you expect from so many people that are destitute and starving? Of course they're going to steal from the rich and South Vietnam made lots of money, was less populated. Was there any system that could've worked? There's a limit to how much poverty and overpopulation a nation can take before it falls to socialism. Vietnam's the size of Virginia.

Looking all over the place, need help! Trying to locate accounts of my great-great grandmother who was 17 years old during the uprising. She is somehow connected to the Sioux Uprising/Dakota Wars of 1862. Her name is Josephine Caroline Nelsen, although spelling may be different or the first and middle names could have been reversed.

Thanks in advance!
