I recently thought of a really good one. If you are into Harry Potter at all, there are alot of similarities between book 7 of Harry Potter and WW2, specifically the rise of Hitler/Voldemort.

If you're looking for inspiration one of the most famous historical allegories out there in literature is a book called Animal Farm by Orson Wells.

How about a piece on sibling rivalry that uses the Civil War as a background? Johnny and Billy compete for control of the house, have a fight in "Guttersburg" or compete to see who "Auntie Tietam" loves more, etc. One has a friend names Link, while the other has a friend named Jeff (or JD).

Kinda lame, I know...

It is sometimes nice to help with homework from time to time, but it is something else to do it all for someone who really doesn't want to do it. I don't even ask for that kind of help when I do my homework and I am a 40 year old full-time college student who also works full-time. I am doing just fine too with a 3.73 GPA in my first semester of college in 20 years.
